Chase Block is a writer from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, drawn to the kind of stories that live or die on the people inside them. He studied at USC's film school and works in independent production, co-writing, co-directing, and co-producing a pilot that screened at SXSW, but the through-line across everything is the same: a pull toward characters caught in the moments that test them, where what someone wants and what they're willing to do about it don't quite line up. Chase writes the messier, more human territory of who people are when it counts.
